If you bought your HI Membership in person at one of our non-hostel sales points (Greyhound station, Flight Centre, Mountain Equipment Co-op, Travel CUTS or another travel agent or store), you need to validate your membership card online.

Validation registers your membership in the HI system and ensures you can replace your card if you lose it. It means we can keep you up to date about travel deals, new discounts, and special offers, if you want, AND we'll let you know when it's time to renew or upgrade your card, so you can leave your brain to more important tasks, like deciding between the top or the bottom bunk.
