Who We Are
The HI-Atlantic Region is a non-profit, membership based organization. Formed in July of 2010, the network includes the HI-Canada members and Hostels in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. Nine hostels operate as part of HI-Atlantic; two are owned by the association and seven are affiliate hostels.
Volunteer Board members and staff work for the betterment of hostelling in the Atlantic, support the National Office and serve over 800 HI members in our region. We encourage education, adventure and cultural understanding through travel. Our goal is to ensure that visitors to our unique region on the Canadian East coast have a positive and memorable hostelling experience.
"To help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of peoples, places and cultures, through hostelling."
Join our network of travel and adventure! Memberships will qualify you for discounts and savings around the globe. Membership cards can be purchased or ordered online or by mail:
