Hostelling International - Canada-Saskatchewan Region (HI-C-SASK), founded in 1973, is a non-profit, membership based organization.  HI-C-SASK works to encourage education, adventure and cultural understanding through travel by providing hostel accommodation and Hostelling International membership programs, as well as hostel based programs. 

HI-C-SASK also operates the Travellers Shop, which carries a variety of travel products and has everything You Need, For Everywhere You Want To Go!

Volunteers are essential to the services, activities and programs that HI-C-SASK offers.  The benefits of volunteering include sharing your skills and talents, making new friends, gaining experiences, personal development and having FUN.  Volunteering is a winning combination for both you and the organization; giving a little can help a lot.

Member volunteer opportunities are endless.  To name a few, assist the organization by coming onto the Board of Directors and have a say in the governance of your organization.  Share your favourite international recipe and host a cooking class or assist in the presentation and preparation of an International Dinner Night.  Come out and have some fun with a special event such as our Haunted Hostel, Members' Night or Summer Fun Barbecues! 
 
 Members are kept informed of upcoming events, programs and activities through our E-Members Update.  Share your spirit of adventure and write a story of your most exciting, exotic or hilarious hostelling adventure.  Writing not your passion, how about doing a Let's Talk Travel presentation.  Let others know how hostelling played a part in your trip and share your travel tips.
