HI-Beauty Creek Wilderness Hostel is surrounded by a great variety of nature's best creations, from the Columbia Icefield to Sunwapta and Stanley Falls and the caves along Woolley River. Located on Beauty Creek, canoeing or swimming in the cold glacier water for the brave are popular activities. Elk and even bears are often spotted in the area around the hostel.

Bicycle Touring
A popular trip is the 3 day journey from Jasper to Banff or the reverse. Along the Parkway, hostels are located at convenient intervals for cyclists - an easier and lighter option than camping.

Columbia Icefield Centre 
View the Athabasca Glacier, a huge tongue of snow and ice 6km long by 1km wide. Take the Brewsters' Ice Age Adventure and ride up and onto the glacier via a specially designed Ice Explorer. Open April 15 to October 15.
