Greyhound Canada has been a longstanding partner of Hostelling International Canada since 1998. We've been working together to develop travel related programs in schools, and to make travelling affordable to youth.

Greyhound Canada encourages young travelers - through the discounts provided and the geographical area covered in the transportation industry - to learn about new peoples and places.

In July 2008 a new agreement was signed to strengthen our partnership by distributing all HI-Canada membership cards through the www.greyhound.ca website, and the Adult membership card in Greyhound stations across Canada. Based on the same agreement, Greyhound provides the following discounts to Canadian and international HI members: 

• Passenger Travel 

1. 25% off one-way or return trips in Canada. 
2. Free upgrade from 7 day Discovery Pass to 15 day Discovery Pass for any trip starting in Canada. This pass can be used for travel in North America, including Mexico. Members save $110 when purchasing the pass. 

• Personal Shipping

30% off personal pre-paid forward station-to-station shipping in Canada

We have recently developed an online order tool for Discovery Passes available to all HI members starting their North America trip in Canada, available at: http://www.discoverypass.hihostels.ca
