Fredericton is a beautiful city
New Brunswick's capitol, city settled in 1752, is truly one of North America's most beautiful cities. Situated on the banks of the scenic Saint John River Fredericton offers over 70km of river front walking and biking trails, lush green spaces and numerous cultural and historic buildings. Downtown Fredericton offers a wide range of activities and events. During the summer months enjoy free outdoor concerts, theatre and cinema, swim in the public swimming pool at queen square, or rent a kayak or bike and cruise along the Saint John River. On a rainy day, tour the legislature, science east, and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery or check out the local art scene at the garrison district. Downtown is also home to many restaurants, pubs, bars and boutiques.
The hostel is located in the heart of downtown Fredericton and is within walking distance of any downtown attraction.
