Quebec City, Qc December 17th 2008 - The Auberge Internationale de Quebec just received the highest certification from Hostelling International organization.
The Auberge Internationale de Quebec became the first hostel in the world certified HI-Quality Level 2.
The HI Quality program enables hostels to consistently improve and maintain high quality standards. The certificate is the new reference for the travellers looking for the greatest quality.
In the heart of Old Quebec, the Auberge International is a proud ambassador of Quebec City. The Auberge Internationale de Quebec first opened its doors 36 years ago in an ancient prison "Petite Bastille" on the Plains of Abraham. It moved to its actual location in 1984. Since then, the hostel grew up to 280 beds and is looking forward to reach 60 000 overnight stays this year. In both private and shared rooms, everyone is greeted with warmth and professionalism with all the services expected.
