Groups love the fun and welcoming atmosphere of our HI-Edmonton urban hostel!        

Here groups find themselves in near private luxury; we have 24 rooms that have only 2 beds per room. We also have some larger rooms that range from 4 to 8 beds. Group leaders will be happy to know that we have 13 private rooms, so getting a good night's sleep will come with ease at HI-Edmonton.

 Located in Edmonton's historic Old Strathcona Neighbourhood, we are THE spot to be no matter what adventures, activities, or events your group should wish to partake in. We're just off Whyte Avenue, the coolest strip for shopping, pubbing and clubbing, near the University of Alberta and across the river from the downtown core. Everything you need is within walking distance with the infamous West Edmonton Mall a quick bus ride away.

Easy Planning
Let us take the load off your back! Our friendly groups department can help you to arrange everything to make your experience as comfortable, efficient, and exciting as possible. We can help you out with everything from airport transfers, meals, entertainment passes/tickets, and meeting spaces in the hostel. You dream it! We create it!

Educational Programming
In addition to offering affordable accommodation, HI hostels provide unique experiences, an educational environment and group-oriented facilities that are not available at hotels. Your group can cook its own meals in our fully equipped kitchens, run programs in our recreation and meeting rooms, and learn about other places and cultures by meeting guests from around the world. Our various arrangements of both shared sleeping rooms and private rooms can accommodate groups of all sizes.
