Poised alongside the Maligne River, just above the spectacular depths of Maligne Canyon, this serene hostel is an all-season destination. Travellers will enjoy an array of hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing trails. You are in BEAR COUNTRY and the hostel is located in an animal corridor. A safe place to witness nature at its finest.
No Running Water, No Showers and Outhouse toilets. We do have purified water for cooking, a refrigerator, propane stoves and lights.
A wide range of Alberta adventures, such as hiking alpine trails, visiting local lakes, sighting several types of local wildlife, skiing at nearby resorts are just a few of the experiences located near the hostel. The nearby Skyline Trail offers one of Jasper National Park's most scenic hikes. Maligne Canyon and area can be explored all year around. Enjoy summer boat and wildlife tours, in the winter get into the Canyon with a guided ice walk.

Reservations and Cancellations.
A credit card is needed when making reservations. Due to the lack of direct/reliable communication with the hostel, the Central Reservation Office is not able to make same day arrival reservations. Book ahead to avoid any disappointment as this smaller hostel is very popular both in winter and summer. 48 hours is required when cancelling individual reservations, please contact Central Reservations for more information.
