Volunteers are the backbone of the K-100. Without these individuals the race could not take place. On the day of the event we rely on over 300 people to keep things running smoothly. The K-100 also has a group of 10 committed individuals who work year round with the race director to plan the race, they will also be present on race day.

K-100 volunteers work an average of between four and six hours, some volunteer positions are prior/post race day.  Please see the job descriptions for a brief outline of the different volunteer areas.

In acknowledgement of their contribution, all K-100 volunteers receive a great t-shirt. Dinner is provided at our volunteer appreciation and training evening which will be held in June from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Marlborough Park Community Centre. The community centre is located at 6021 Madigan Drive NE. In addition, volunteers are invited to the post race meal at Nakiska on race day.
