On July 13-15, 2012, the Vancouver Folk Music Festival will be celebrating its 35th anniversary. HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach is located closest to the festival site and has become the accommodation of choice for Folk Fest goers. Reservations for the 2012 Vancouver Folk Festival are accepted starting September 1, 2011 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

RESERVATION POLICIES
To ensure fairness and clarity in our reservation process, the following policies are in effect during the July 13 - 15 Vancouver Folk Festival:

INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS

• A credit card number is required to guarantee a reservation.
• Reservations require a minimum two (2) night stay.
• A 25% non-refundable deposit will be charged to the credit card upon receipt of reservation.
• The person who made the reservation must be a member of the party for which the reservation was made. He/she must also be physically present at time of check-in.

GROUP RESERVATIONS
For reservations of 10 or more individuals, the following group policies apply:

• A credit card number is required to guarantee a group reservation.
• Reservations require a minimum two (2) night stay.
• A 25% non-refundable deposit will be charged to the credit card upon receipt of reservation.
• Each reservation is limited to a maximum of eighteen dorm beds and two private rooms (of which a maximum of one premium private room is permitted).
• The person who made the reservation must be a member of the party for which the reservation was made. He/she must also be physically present at time of check-in.
• Group Reservations can only be made by calling Central Reservations at 1-866-762-4122 or by emailing our Group Reservations Agent.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL BOOKING TYPES

• Changes or cancellations to existing reservations are accepted until April 30, 2012. The 25% deposit remains non-refundable.
• Total cost of reservation must be prepaid in full no later than May 1, 2012. Credit cards on file will be charged on May 1,2012.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 1, 2012.

ELIGIBILITY

• As part of its mission, Hostelling International provides tourist accommodation and as such, our hostels do not accommodate local residents. That means that Vancouver and Lower Mainland residents can't stay at HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach. At check-in, you'll be required to present valid government-issued photo ID.
