Educational Material
At Hostelling International, we believe that hostelling should be more than a form of accommodation, it should be an experience. From our communal style facilities to our locations, we are different.
Below is a link to Hostelling in the Rockies, Our Natural and Human History. We have compiled this information on each of the Rocky Mountain Hostels, to help groups and individuals become more intimate with the very special places our facilities occupy in the landscape and history of Alberta. It is our hope that school groups in particular, will use this information to enrich the stays of their students.
In the future we hope to link this material to curriculum based lesson plans and we are currently working on multiple geocaching sites. If any teachers would like to use this material, please feel free. If you would like to donate any related lesson plans that we could post for others to use while visiting the hostels we would greatly appreciate it. Enjoy!
