HI-Shuswap is a great setting for small to medium size groups ranging from schools (from elementary to university), corporate retreats, club events, family reunions to wedding. Our staff are knowledgeable in assisting your groups stay. We can help arrange activities from geocaching, team building, nature walks, bat conservation talks, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, golf, native storytelling and native games.
Meals
We can arrange for group meals for as low as $14.00 per person per day (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner). To keep costs down, groups help prepare and clean up. Hostel provides staff to co-ordinate meals. We can cater to dairy. wheat and gluten free.
All you can eat Breakfast Options: ($4.00 per person includes coffee, tea or hot chocolate) includes fruit pancakes with real maple syrup, ham & eggers and french toast.
Lunch Options: $4.75 per person sandwich buffet serving curried egg salad, tuna wasabi salad, ham, cheese, salami, pickles, fresh organic fruit and hot soup on cold days.
Dinners Options: For only $5.50 per person dinner buffet options include (1) BBQ Burger (Bison or Vegetarian) served with organic salad; (2) Burrito Buffet with fillings such as beef, tofu, rice, black beans, lettuce, cheese, salsa, sour cream or (3) Vegetable Stir Fry with rice and chicken or tofu can be added.

Activities
HI-Shuswap has an Activities Coordinator on-site. Activities include bat viewing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, canoeing, team building, geocaching, mountain biking, bat conservation talks, hiking, golf, native story telling or games.
Room Arrangement
HI-Shuswap Lake has 3 CN cabooses that sleep 6, which have their own kitchenette, sitting area and toilet. The shower is in a building beside the caboose. There are two private rooms in the main building, which can sleep 3 people. A boathouse (no power) sleeps up to 6 and there are tenting spots.
Reservations
Reservations can be made by phone, fax, mail or e-mail up to one year in advance. A Group Membership is available to Canadian groups FREE of charge. A group membership entitles everyone in the group to discounted or member rates and access to the Book-a-Hostel program when travelling as a group. 50% of reservation is due on booking with the remainder due 14 days before arrival. Cancellation (with refund) is 14 days. Groups can make changes up to 10% of booking 24 hours before with out a fee.
