The HI-Banff Alpine Centre hostel offers affordable and exciting adventures in the heart of Banff and the Canadian Rockies. Our affordable pub, The Storm Cellar, is a great place to meet other travellers from around the world over a game of pool, darts or foosball - and all the games are free! If you are in too much of a rush to make breakfast before hitting the ski slopes or heading out for a hike, try our full-service restaurant, Cougar Pete's Kitchen and Lookout, for some of the best prices best food and biggest portions in Banff.
Our guest rooms are comfortable four to six-bed dorms for the budget-concious traveller; however, we also offer a variety of private rooms from our standard private with double bed to our more luxurious superior rooms with queen bed, ensuite washroom and TV/telephone. We have several beautiful log cabins that can sleep up to 4 guests with ensuite washrooms, TV/telephone and a suite-style seating area where you can cozy up around the fireplace and enjoy the view of the rockies right outside the windows.
