Driving to Whistler from Downtown Vancouver

• Head westbound on Georgia Street towards the Lions Gate suspension bridge. When you reach the far end, look for the West Vancouver Exit. You circle around under the bridge onto Marine Drive. Stay in the right-hand lane over a green bridge and make the first right at Taylor Way. Head up the hill you'll see Highway 1 before you. Merge to the left under Highway 1and turn left immediately under the overpass.
• As you approach Horseshoe Bay, watch for the exit for Squamish and Whistler.
• You are now on Highway 99 - the Sea to Sky Highway - which will take you all the way to Whistler Village.

Directions to the Hostel:

• By car: When in Whistler, but before reaching the Whistler Creek Ski Lifts, turn left on Alta Lake Road (sign reads 'Alta Lake Westside'). Follow the road for 4.8km until you reach the hostel turn-off on your right hand side.
• By bus: The local bus in the summer runs from the gondola transit exchange, located beneath the Blackcomb gondola in Whistler Village. Bus departs from stall #2 at 9:20 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
• By foot: Walk north from Whistler Village along the Valley Trail to the hostel, about a 45 minute walk.
