HI Lake Louise is just down the road from the lake in a post and beam chalet with a variety of room options and its own licensed restaurant. Visit the lake, hike the local trails or ski at a world-class resort in the winter (five minutes by car).

Group Bookings

From school groups to weddings, HI Lake Louise Alpine Centre is a great facility for you and your group of any size. Located in the village of Lake Louise, the hostel can help you organize activities, excursions educational programs and receptions to entertain your group. The on-site cafe, Bill Peytos is well-equipped to fully cater your group while you're here.

Groups Information

This hostel has unbeatable rates and a friendly atmosphere. Dorm rooms, with bathroom and shower, sleep four, making them perfect for a family. Some six person rooms are also available. The hostel has a kitchen, game room, DVDs and a free shuttle to the ski resort.

Really nice hostel!! We did a fire upstairs every night and the staff are really friendly! They play card at night with us. You can meet amazing people. Room are clean,shower hot ,nice sauna and the nature around is beautifulllll

I may be biased from staying at hostels in many other countries, but this is the nicest one I've stayed at. Multiple showers per floor, clean linen and a FULL communal kitchen so you can save money on cooking your own food!

We came to ski lake louise....We met a lot of great people and rested well. The beds were clean with a bathroom in our room. Showers are across the hall.Go make yourself known because the people staying there wish to visit and be friendly.

The Lake Louise

Beautiful turquoise lake that gave its name to the town. Expect many tourists snapping pictures, but this doesn't take away the magnificent beauty of the spot. In summer, you can rent kayaks and canoes, and in winter you can rent ice skates to enjoy some time at the lake.

Teahouse at Lake Agnes

Go for a teahouse hike! To get to this little gem, you have to hike 3.5kms from Lake Louise to get to the Lake Agnes teahouse. It has over 100 teas and delicious snacks. Plus, enjoy some of the best views over Lake Louise from up there.

Chateau Lake Louise

Wanna feel like royalty for a bit? Visit this beautiful hotel built at the turn of the 20th century that looks like a castle. There are some pricey restaurants and shops, but you can treat yourself to a high tea or fancy cocktails with views over Lake Louise for a bougie, yet somewhat affordable experience.
