The spring skiing up the road  at The Lake Louise Ski Resort is epic, not only do you get to plow through deep, fresh powder in the winter but spring brings sun and goggle tans. In the summer, the mountains open up making your possibilities limitless. Lake Louise is a hiker's paradise, with so many trails and mountaintops to explore; you won't be able to decide which to do first. From valley bottom hiking to alpine summit pushes, there is a trail for every ability level. Also, don't forget to bring your camera; Lake Louise is a mecca for photographers. From glacier blues, to emerald green and aquamarine lakes, to a rainbow of colours when the wildflowers bloom, colours explode in the summer. And above all, the wildlife! Summer brings bears out of their slumber and other majestic animals back to places where we can view them.

In the autumn, the hiking season continues and the mountains quiet down allowing for quiet outings to recharge your mind and body. When the needles on the larch trees change colour from green they fill entire valleys with a rich gold - a sight not to be missed! We have the winter adventure to satisfy your soul -  alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing and backcountry pursuits. End your subzero day by relaxing beside our toasty fireplace or inside our dry sauna.

HI-Lake Louise Alpine Centre is proud to be jointly owned by Hostelling International and the Alpine Club of Canada.
