HI-Victoria

The HI-Victoria hostel is located in the heart of old downtown Victoria.

If travelling by car, follow the signs to the Pat Bay Highway #17. The highway eventually becomes Blanshard Street. As you arrive into Downtown, take a right turn onto Yates Street. The hostel is 4 blocks down on your right hand side, just before the water.

Airport Directions:

By public bus transit: Take bus # 83 to the McTavish Exchange and transfer to #70X or 72 to downtown Victoria. Get off at Douglas and View St, walk 2 blocks North to Yates Street. Turn left and walk 3 1/2 blocks to the hostel, located on the right-hand side of the street. Bus ride costs $2.50 (Get a transfer on Bus 83 and use the transfer for Bus 70X or 72).

Bus Directions:

Pacific Coach lines runs a service from downtown Vancouver, dropping you off at the Victoria bus terminal. From the bus terminal in downtown Victoria, walk 6 blocks North on Douglas Street to Yates Street. Turn left on Yates and walk for 3 blocks. The hostel will be on your right hand side.

Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal Directions

Directly out front of the ferry terminal is a bus stop.  Take bus # 70, 70X or 72 to downtown Victoria. Get off at Douglas and View St, walk 2 blocks North to Yates Street. Turn left and walk 3 1/2 blocks to the hostel, located on the right-hand side of the street. Bus ride costs $2.50.
